In 2010 we are looking to book intimate European/UK concerts in cafes, restaurants, bars with acoustic music, house concerts, bed & breakfasts, art galleries and more with performances incorporating guitar, sitar, keys and vocal harmonies. In September/October Emil & Emaline are also looking at booking a North American Tour incorporating Canada, USA and Alaska.

Please find more information below about the pair and drop us a line at candlestonemusic@gmail.com if you would be interested in discussing the possibility of booking them for a show as part of their tour.

Emil Brynge

In 2008, Emil Brynge relocated to London from his native Sweden, having already performed in the UK at various gigs and festivals since 2006. His songs and lyrics are infused with his reverence for nature, and a deep interest in visual art inspired him to write a song about Brancusi’s sculpture ‘Bird In Space’. As a guitarist, Brynge’s finger-picking style is strongly influenced by musicians such as Nick Drake, Robin Williamson, Bert Jansch and The Incredible String Band. He also plays several other instruments including sitar, violin and piano. Emil Brynge has so far played over 70 UK gigs, including two years at Moseley Folk Festival, a sold out Cardiff-show with Robin Williamson as a duo with folk legend Mark Fry and a London gig critics choiced by TimeOut.

Emaline Delapaix

Emaline Delapaix is an Aussie singer songwriter who lives between rural Western Canada and the hidden forests of Germany with her big orange cat Reece. She spends a lot of time writing odd folk pop for piano, acoustic guitar and harp and sometimes whatever else she has lying about the place. Some say she sounds a little like Kate Bush or Tori Amos, but she also loves a lot of Scandinavian music: music that invokes the weather like storms and warm sunsets. Emaline has taken her music to over 15 countries including shows in Rome, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, Melbourne, Toronto, NYC, Seattle, London and most recently a sell out performance as part of York House Concerts with Emil Brynge. Her stories are clever and funny, surprising and intense, challenging the audience to open their hearts and let down their guard, to relate and connect. To travel by song...

"A very unique sound for some truly impressive song writing. Unusual instrumentation, intricate rhythms and clever arrangements held together by excellent vocals and harmonies. What a treat!"
