Interested in booking me for a house concert? Can you gather up at least 15/20 friends/co-workers or neighbours? I am available to perform a house concert (60-80 min) in a solo, duo or trio format and we can fit into surprisingly snug spaces with minimum gear.  All you need is a living room, kitchen, shop, garden, community hall or any reasonable space that can fit 15 or more people and Bob's your uncle, you've got yourself a very special evening of music, community and fun!

I have played a bunch of house concerts including private homes, B&B's, retreats, eco and intentional communities, tents, stages made out of 70 year old Canadian wagons that bounced as we performed! I love the intimacy between the audience and the musicians and relish the chance to play in new and unusual spaces to interesting folk in many different countries. Sometimes it's also really fun to make the concert a potluck where people bring some food to share or bring old books they want to swap. The sky is the limit, and it doesn't need to be complicated at all. House concerts are all about stripping things back and enjoying music and people!

We all need to make a living and my cat would not be happy if I started feeding him the cheap nasty ALDI catfood again (I don't think he has ever forgiven me for that) so
I typically perform for a suggested donation of €5-€10 per person in return for the concert and I ask that this information be placed on all invitations so the audience are aware. I also ask that you provide a vegan meal (something simple and easy like rice and veggies, salad or pasta is great!) and a warm, clean place to sleep when far away from home (if possible). I keep things pretty acoustic and Karsten my lapsteel guitarist will bring a small amp but don't worry, we won't rock out so hard the neighbours will call the police, unless you want us to ;P

How does this all sound? Like a lot of fun right?

"Emaline is a great person. From the first sight you get the feeling she is a likeable person with a beautiful charisma.
She stayed at my place and gave a fantastic houseconcert, that gave me a few catchy songs (in german: 'Ohrwürmer'), I have still in mind.
Your show was really great and everyone I talked to was so enthusiastic. Really can recommend Emaline as a singer."

"Emaline gave a wonderful house concert in our kitchen. She has an amazing voice and also plays guitar and piano. We all loved it, especially Ada (1 year) who probably started her career as a drummer! Emaline, I wish you all the best and hope to see you soon back in Greifswald (or somewhere else)."

Luneburg House Concert - Flo - Host

"Emaline has got a great voice - apparently it´s port wine that makes her voice so impressive;) She writes beautiful music and is professional in what she´s doing. You won´t regret inviting her for a house concert. She´s got a clear mind and good sense of humour! We enjoyed her company. Keep it up!".
